The Pakistani charity organization, Alkhidmat Foundation recently dispatched a shipment of 20 containers filled with relief goods to Gaza via sea cargo ship. The consignment, totaling 400 tons of essential supplies, is poised to provide much-needed assistance to displaced and affected families in the region.
The relief goods, comprising rice, blankets, tents, tin packs of cooked food, family packs, kitchen sets, jerry cans, medicine, and other essential items, were loaded onto the cargo ship bound for Port Said in Egypt, from where they will be transported to Gaza.
On the occasion of the departure of the relief supplies, a distinguished gathering assembled, including Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed Rabai, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan President Dr. Hafeez Ur Rahman, Vice President and Chairman of Alkhidmat Disaster Management Ejaz Ullah Khan, Alkhidmat Foundation Sindh President Dr. Syed Tabassum Jafari, Alkhidmat Foundation Karachi President Naveed Ali Baig, Eng. Sabir Ahmed, Additional Foreign Secretary, Ambassador Ahmed Amjad Ali, representatives of NDMA, and representatives of other welfare organizations.
The event marked a significant milestone in Alkhidmat’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people amidst the protracted humanitarian crisis in Gaza. By mobilizing resources and coordinating relief efforts, Alkhidmat continues to extend its unwavering support to vulnerable communities, embodying the spirit of compassion and solidarity.
