Governer Sindh Announces Free Breakfast for School Students

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has announced a new initiative to provide free breakfast to students in over 100 schools, addressing student hunger and improving educational outcomes. At a press conference at the Governor House, Tessori emphasized the importance of ensuring no child goes to school hungry, noting that many currently attend classes without breakfast, which affects their concentration and performance.

The first phase will target 100 schools, with plans to expand. Tessori called on philanthropists for support to ensure the program’s success and sustainability, aiming to create a nurturing environment where students can focus on their studies without the distraction of hunger.

Tessori highlighted collaboration with Bashir Farooqi of Saylani Welfare, following instructions from Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and pledged ten million rupees to the project, showing strong financial commitment.

Additionally, Tessori announced plans to expand IT education across other cities in Sindh, equipping students with essential digital skills for the modern workforce.

Governor Tessori’s initiative is a significant step towards enhancing student well-being and educational experiences in Sindh. By addressing nutrition needs, this program aims to create a brighter, more prosperous future for the region’s children.
