Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, in collaboration with the Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), successfully organized MedCon Lahore 2024, a landmark event for medical professionals across Punjab. Held at the Expo Center Lahore, the conference attracted over 1,000 doctors and healthcare experts, showcasing a shared commitment to improving healthcare services and medical practices in the region.
The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, who served as the chief guest. In his keynote address, Hafiz Naeem underscored the importance of community service in the healthcare sector and praised the collaborative efforts of Alkhidmat Foundation and PIMA for organizing such an impactful conference.
Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, President of Alkhidmat Foundation, delivered an insightful presentation on Alkhidmat’s relief activities in Gaza, highlighting the organization’s humanitarian outreach in crisis-stricken areas. His address resonated with the audience, emphasizing the vital role of medical professionals in supporting global relief efforts.
Other esteemed speakers included Prof. Dr. Muhammad Humayoun, who delivered the welcome remarks, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, President of Alkhidmat Health Foundation, who introduced the foundation and its contributions to healthcare. Dr. Intzar Hussain Butt and Dr. Mushtaq Sulehria also shared valuable insights, while Prof. Dr. Khubaib Shahid presented PIMA’s role in elevating medical standards in Pakistan.
