In a world that’s moving faster than ever toward a digital economy, the youth of Peshawar just got a massive head start. The Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially opened the doors to its latest state-of-the-art IT center, the Syed Abul A’ala Campus, designed to turn digital dreams into professional careers.
Located at the Markaz-e-Islami, this isn’t just another computer lab—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of Pakistani freelancers and tech innovators.
More Than Just a Classroom
During the inauguration, Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, shared a vision that goes far beyond basic computer courses. He explained that the Bano Qabil Programme is a structured effort to steer our youth toward true self-reliance.
“We are giving young people the tools to build their own lives,” Dr. Rehman said. “When our youth can secure dignified work online, they aren’t just helping themselves—they are playing a vital role in strengthening the national economy.”
Why This Matters for Peshawar
For many young people in KP, the path to financial independence can feel like an uphill battle. Abdul Wasi, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami KP, highlighted that in the modern era, knowledge and technology are the real sources of power. By offering high-quality IT training, the Bano Qabil program is leveling the playing field. Whether it’s software development, digital marketing, or freelancing, these students are being prepared for a global market, allowing them to earn a respectable livelihood right from their hometown.
A Growing Legacy of Success
The scale of this initiative is truly impressive. Khalid Waqas, the Provincial President of Alkhidmat, shared some inspiring milestones:
-
10,000+ students have already benefited from free IT training across the province.
-
85 campuses are now operational throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
-
The focus remains on sustainable futures through software development and digital freelancing.
