The tech landscape in Pakistan is about to get a massive upgrade. Alibaba Cloud and the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish dedicated Alibaba Cloud Training Centers across the country.

This exciting partnership will be integrated into Alkhidmat’s widely successful Bano Qabil platform, focusing on equipping young Pakistanis with high-demand, globally recognized skills in Artificial Intelligence and cloud computing.

The official agreement was signed by Mr. Hank Shao, representing Alibaba Cloud’s authorized partner, and Mr. Naveed Ali Baig, representing Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. The collaboration brings together Alibaba Cloud Singapore Private Limited and Alkhidmat Foundation, with key support from Cognix Solutions Private Limited, Alibaba Cloud’s authorized partner in Pakistan.

What This Partnership Means for Pakistani Youth

This initiative is built on a non-commercial basis with a single, clear goal: to promote long-term digital skills, boost youth employability, and strengthen Pakistan’s growing digital economy.

Here is a breakdown of what the agreement will bring to life:

  • Two State-of-the-Art Training Centers: Dedicated centers will be built at the Bano Qabil Incubation Center in Karachi and the Bano Qabil Innovation Center in Lahore.

  • International Certification: Students will learn Alibaba Cloud’s official AI and cloud computing curriculum, opening doors for them to earn internationally recognized professional credentials.

  • Top-Tier Faculty Training: To ensure the highest quality of education, Alibaba Cloud will run ongoing training and certification programs for instructors, keeping them up to date with the latest global technological advancements.

  • National AI Hackathons: The partnership will host recurring tech competitions under the theme AI for Pakistan’s Future. These hackathons will encourage young minds to build practical, tech-driven solutions for real-world national challenges, with outstanding teams receiving recognition and support to scale their ideas.

The Power of the Bano Qabil Platform

Alkhidmat’s Bano Qabil program has quickly become one of the most impactful accelerated learning initiatives in the country. With more than 1.15 million registered students and over 90,000 certified graduates already working in various fields nationwide, adding global cloud and AI training to the mix will take the platform’s impact to the next level.

This collaboration is widely seen as a major leap forward for Pakistan’s tech ecosystem, preparing a future-ready workforce that can confidently compete on the global stage with advanced tech capabilities.
