In an era where digital literacy is no longer just an advantage but an absolute necessity, the Al Khidmat Foundation has taken another massive step forward. Under its widely acclaimed nationwide Banu Qaabil program, the foundation has officially launched a specialized IT training initiative exclusively for the members of the Peshawar Press Club (PPC) and their children.

This brilliant initiative aims to equip the families of media professionals with high-demand digital skills, opening doors to freelancing, online businesses, and sustainable financial independence.

A Grand Launch for a Digital Future

To kick off the program, a vibrant ceremony was held at the Al Khidmat Banu Qaabil IT Center in Nishtarabad. The event was presided over by Al-Khidmat Foundation District President Iftikhar Ahmed Khan, with Provincial President Khalid Waqas and Peshawar Press Club President M. Riaz attending as chief guests.

The excitement in the room was palpable as the first batch of over 75 students enrolled. These eager learners are stepping into 16 cutting-edge courses designed to thrive in today’s gig economy, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Digital Marketing & E-Commerce (including Amazon)

  • Web & Graphic Design

  • Video Editing

  • Certified Information Technology (CIT)

A “Game Changing” Movement for Pakistani Youth

Speaking at the event, Al-Khidmat’s Provincial President, Khalid Waqas, highlighted how the Banu Qaabil program has evolved into a nationwide movement.

“Al Khidmat has become a game-changing program in our society. It is actively putting thousands of youth on their own feet across the country by providing them with completely free, premium IT skills.”

He emphasized that this dedicated class for the Peshawar Press Club is just the beginning, with more specialized cohorts planned for the near future to ensure no one gets left behind in the digital race.

Celebrating Collaboration and Excellence

The leadership of the Peshawar Press Club expressed deep gratitude for the initiative. PPC Vice President Zia ul Haq thanked the Al Khidmat Foundation for prioritizing the welfare and future of media families.

To add an extra layer of motivation, PPC President M. Riaz announced an exciting incentive: the top ten position holders of this special class will receive prestigious awards and cash prizes directly from the Peshawar Press Club.

Why This Matters

Journalists and media workers spend their lives highlighting the stories of others, often with limited time to focus on upskilling their own households. By offering these top-tier tech courses for free, Al-Khidmat is not just teaching software they are fostering entrepreneurship and building economic resilience right at home.

With 16 diverse fields to choose from, these 75+ students are well on their way to becoming the digital leaders of tomorrow.
