Eid is a time for joy, new clothes, and family—but for many orphaned children, these simple pleasures can feel out of reach. This year, Alkhidmat Foundation turned those dreams into a reality by hosting a special Eid shopping spree at Dolmen Mall, Lahore.
The Joy of Choice
In a beautiful display of dignity and care, 300 orphaned children were given the opportunity to select their own Eid gifts. Instead of receiving pre-packaged bundles, the children explored the mall to hand-pick:
- Favorite Outfits: Choosing colors and styles that expressed their personalities.
- New Shoes: Finding the perfect fit for the festive days ahead.
- Special Gifts: Selecting toys and items that brought genuine smiles to their faces.
- Beyond the shopping, the day was filled with fun activities, ensuring that these children experienced the full excitement of the holiday season.
Leadership with a Heart
The event was made even more special as Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation, Syed Ehsan Ullah Waqas, joined the children. By walking through the aisles and sharing in their excitement, he reinforced the foundation’s philosophy: these children are not just beneficiaries; they are a part of the Alkhidmat family.
