In a significant move for Pakistan’s healthcare landscape, the Alkhidmat Foundation and Qatar Charity have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bring life-saving medical care to the country’s most remote corners.

This partnership is a direct response to the challenges faced by underserved communities. Under the agreement, Qatar Charity will provide critical financial and technical backing to 13 of Alkhidmat’s Mobile Health Units.

The Impact:
These “hospitals on wheels” have been a lifeline since the 2022 floods, providing:

  • Professional medical consultations.
  • Free essential medications.
  • On-site lab testing and primary care.

During the signing in Lahore, Syed Waqas Jafri, Secretary General of Alkhidmat, emphasized that this collaboration is about more than just numbers—it’s about ensuring that every Pakistani, regardless of their location, has access to their basic right to health.
